PTFE washers
PTFE products are commonly found in a number of different applications and are particularly popular because of their unique set of properties, which includes resistance to both water and oil, and an extremely low coefficient of friction. Moreover, the material’s heat and chemical resistance coupled with its fairly high strength makes it both durable and dependable.
These PTFE backup rings resist harsh chemicals, such as acetone, fluorinated solvents, methanol, and many acids. Use them to extend the life of your O-rings and improve their performance in high-pressure applications.
PTFE products are non-toxic, odorless and highly transparent. They are soft, elastic, resistant to kinking and deformation, and do not crack. They can withstand both low and high temperatures, have a long service life, and possess high tear resistance. When stored at room temperature, they do not turn yellow, bloom or fade. When left in water for a long time, they do not produce scale or peculiar smells. Therefore, they are suitable for sealing in the food industry.
PTFE products can be used in industries such as food production equipment, beverage production equipment, condiment production equipment, amino acid production equipment, yeast production equipment, beer production equipment, mineral water production equipment, cosmetics production equipment, and pharmaceutical machinery. Various cross-sectional shapes of sealing rings can be customized according to needs, with stable performance and good sealing effect.
